What does Watershed Career Consultants do?

Watershed Career Consultants provides career coaching and consulting for professionals navigating meaningful career decisions. We help clients gain clarity, define direction, and move forward with intention using a structured, psychology informed approach.

Our work supports career transitions, burnout, leadership growth, and moments when success no longer feels aligned.

I am not sure what I need yet. Is that okay?

Yes. In fact, that is very common.

You do not need to arrive with a clear plan. Every client begins with a complimentary consultation designed to help clarify what support would be most useful right now. Together, we explore your situation and determine the most appropriate next step.

You can schedule your free consultation on our Schedule Appointment page.

What happens during the initial consultation?

The initial consultation is a 30 minute conversation.

We will discuss:

  • Where you are in your career

  • What questions or challenges you are facing

  • What feels unclear or unresolved

  • What you are hoping to change or explore

By the end of the conversation, we will recommend a path forward. In some cases, that may include working together. In others, it may mean pointing you toward a different resource. The goal is clarity, not pressure.

Why are not all services priced publicly?

Some services are offered as structured packages with clear pricing. Others vary based on scope, complexity, and level of support required.

Careers are not one size fits all, and neither is consulting. We discuss pricing transparently during the consultation so you can make an informed decision without surprises.

What if I cannot afford coaching right now?

We understand that career transitions often come with financial uncertainty. In some cases, we are able to offer a limited discount of up to 20 percent to help make coaching more accessible.

This is not something we offer automatically, but it is available in specific situations. If this is a concern for you, please feel free to raise it during the consultation so we can talk openly.

What if I need support across multiple areas?

Many clients do.

Career transitions often involve overlapping needs such as clarity, confidence, materials, and decision support. In these cases, we recommend coaching packages or customized engagements that provide continuity and better value than individual services.

This is something we discuss during the consultation based on your goals.

There are many career coaching companies. What makes Watershed different?

Watershed is grounded in behavioral psychology, decision science, and real world experience inside hiring and talent systems.

We do not promise quick fixes or guaranteed outcomes. We do provide structured thinking, clear frameworks, and support designed to help you make decisions that are both strategic and sustainable.

Our focus is not just on what you do next, but on helping you understand how careers actually work so you can navigate future decisions with confidence.

Do you offer corporate workshops or speaking engagements?

Yes.

We work with organizations on topics related to career development, decision making, burnout, and modern career design. If you are interested in workshops, speaking engagements, or internal programs, please reach out through our contact page to start the conversation.

Do you work with clients outside the United States?

Yes.

While our work is primarily focused on the United States, we regularly work with clients internationally. During the initial consultation, we will discuss context, location, and any considerations that may affect how we work together.

Is Watershed a good fit for everyone?

Not always, and that is intentional.

Watershed is a good fit for people who want to think deeply, reflect honestly, and engage actively in the process. If you are looking for quick answers, rigid formulas, or someone to tell you exactly what to do, our approach may not be the right match.

The consultation helps both sides determine fit.
